This basically follows the format of a stand up meeting or a progress report. Basically, take the action plan, go through each one of the points and get a status update. The primary metric that you will be able to use is follow through on changes in the workplace. If they improve enough, there is the possibility of turning a negative into a positive.
- Check the attendance sheet
- Check the status of the sponsor by just asking about progress
- If they went to rehab, check that they attended
- Check that they followed through on their changes in the workplace
- Talk in general about how things are going
